NFN Went to the Capitol to Meet with the Ag Policy Advisor to the Governor

NFN with Nebraska agriculture policy advisor to governor

Nebraska Farmer’s Network had the privilege of meeting Governor Pillen’s Agriculture Advisor, Cicely Wardyn.  We were invited to the State Capitol to address how foreign & out-of-state interest is affecting small-town Nebraska across the state and what action NFN is currently taking, to help join the fight.

Key members of NFN also attended the meeting to show their support and to explain to Cicely why it was important for them & their families to become members of NFN.  Each had a unique story to share from their part of Nebraska and how Nebraska Farmers Network’s mission aligns perfectly with one of the Governor’s top priorities, Nebraska’s land.

We went over how NFN is the ONLY Nebraska company or association that is solely dedicated to defending, protecting & preserving Nebraska land.  How each member will personally increase their Nebraska land holdings across the state and be able to secure their legacy for their family.

Lastly, we made it a point, as our current generation of farmers & ranchers plan to retire in the next 10-15 years, there will be millions of acres of farm and ranch land that will change hands and the time to act is now!
